On 18 July, the #WinningTeam at Mmabatho Palms in Mahikeng embarked on their Mandela Day project for 2024. Mandela Day is the annual global celebration that takes place on 18 July to honour the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela. This day is a call to action for all individuals, communities, and organisations to take time to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and to make a positive impact in their own communities, for a minimum of 67 minutes.

As always, the #WinningTeam were out in force to help make a difference in their communities. Mmabatho Palms donated school uniforms and established a vegetable garden (providing tools and seeds) for Mojamorago Primary School. This allows the school to be more self-sufficient.
