On 15 November Mmabatho Palms in Mahikeng launched their eagerly anticipated Executive Villas. Guests will now be able to enjoy a fresh and trendy new look and feel, thanks to the latest round of refurbishments at the hotel.

To continuously excite and delight visitors, Mmabatho Palms has refurbished 20 Executive Villas, which includes a full bathroom remodel along with a fresh update to the passageway areas. “We are extremely pleased with how our Executive Villas have turned out, and am sure our guests will love the new look and feel of the Villas during their stay,” says Sisulu Madondo, the resort’s General Manager. “We continually look for ways to enhance the Mmabatho Palms experience for our guests, and these upgrades will assist in maintaining the hotel’s reputation as one of the North West’s premiere hospitality destinations.”

As part of the bedroom upgrades, the carpeting and curtaining have been replaced, and a trendy selection of bed scatter cushions and throws have been added to brighten up the space. The new chic and modern lounge sofas bring an air of sophistication, while the contemporary floor standing lamp, bed wall lights and elegant feature lighting in the lounge area create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Added to this, new TV units, bedside tables, coffee tables and occasional chairs also feature, along with a new padded headboard insert. The bathrooms now include a new stone vanity with mirror, new eco-friendly toilet, rain showerheads for soothing bath-time experiences, and a new herringbone tile for the bathroom floors. There is also a mosaic tiling feature in the shower area, and the walls have been freshly painted to include a bright, yet tasteful feature wall colour.

The design team opted to replace existing artwork with contemporary pieces, as well as the lighting and adding a fresh coat of paint to the walls that reflect the look and feel of the hotel. “The internal project management team, architects and interior designers studied the latest interior design trends and worked hard to apply these in a way that made sense for Mmabatho Palms,” concludes Madondo. “We are ready and waiting to welcome local and international guests at the oasis that is Mmabatho Palms!”
