Lolo Lekgoane Lupus Foundation Awareness Walkathon
On Saturday, 4 May Mmabatho Palms supported the second annual Lolo Lekgoane Lupus Foundation Awareness Walkathon. The staff took part in the 6km Walkathon and also donated Blankets as part of a Mmabatho Palms CSI initiative.
The Foundation hosted its second annual Lupus Awareness Walkathon this year to correspond with International Lupus Awareness Month.
The aim is to reach more people with this information with the hope to curb the late detection. Systematic Lupus Erythmatosis. SLE (Lupus for short) is a disease where the immune system attacks its healthy tissues and affects all the vital organs of the body.
